As a social enterprise, we rely on donated IT equipment from large and small sources to maintain our organisation. We recycle all kinds of IT equipment so that it is effectively reused or processed as e-waste – keeping it out of landfills, off kerbsides or turning up as global debris.

The Victorian Government has banned e-waste from landfill in Victoria, effective 1 July 2019. E-waste is growing up to three times faster than general municipal waste in Australia. This ban helps to address the risks and opportunities associated with this rapid rate of growth.

This means any device that has a plug, battery or power cord that is no longer working or wanted. It includes a range of items we use and discard from our homes and businesses, for including computers, mobile phones and IT equipment.

Your donations will allow us to continue to:

  • Assist local communities in need by refurbishing and supplying them with working IT Equipment
  • Provide low cost equipment to people in need through various projects – ie The Queens Fund
  • Provide work experience to people disadvantaged in the job market, either by disability or other circumstance.  We provide training in a range of IT hardware services – testing, erasing, rebuilding IT devices and equipment or dismantling and preparing equipment for eWaste servicing with certified Australian partners.
